VANESSA COSTANTINO, West Islip, M, Sophomore: She had an excellent freshman season and displayed playmaking abilities with 25 points and 29 assists, which of course brought a lot of college interest. Costantino recently committed to Syracuse.
KERRY DEFLIESE, Garden City, M, Sophomore: A soccer and lacrosse standout with great athleticism, Defliese is a Syracuse commit whose skills continue to improve.
NICOLE LEVY, East Islip, A, Junior: The Syracuse-bound star has been a prolific scorer and led Suffolk with 124 points (79 goals) last season. She has been a Newsday All-Long Island pick in lacrosse and field hockey.
