1- Feel terrible about Hunt. Kid fought to get back and he goes down in the first quarter with what appears like a serious injury. Dungey looked a little nervous at first which is to be expected but played decently against an overmatched opponent. Cornelius needs to make that play in the end zone, perfect toss and hit him in the hands. Lastly, WHY IN THE HECK DID SHAFER TAKE DUNGEY OUT IN THE 3RD QUARTER. I know the game was over but it appears like we're going to be rolling with DUNGEY the rest of the way and he needs all the reps he can get!!

2- A ton of second year players (redshirt freshman and true sophomores) and true freshman getting run and making some noise. Has me optimistic regarding recruiting and future years. Think this may be a long year with ups and downs, but I believe the future is bright if we can continue to get playmakers and recruit the way we have been.

3- sloppy start to the game. A lot of penalties and we started slow with a turnover. But it didn't continue which was nice. However it is tough to gauge much from this game, URI is truly a bad team and was overmatched. With that said, in the past we have struggled with these teams and it was nice to see us win big even after a slow start. All in all a good first game besides the hunt injury.

He took him out because if Dungey got hurt in that game, just put a fork in the rest of the season.
He needs reps (he played half the game) but you've got to address the risk

You also have to get some game reps for his backup. I know Wilson played last year, but get him out there on the field for a few series anyway and shake off the cobwebs.

He knew he was going to be handing the ball off for a quarter and half. Wilson had 1 pass attempt. Didn't miss anything.

Need to put Womack back at QB,don't want to see Wilson, unless it's a blowout. He almost got picked off for a TD, locks onto one receiver, like last year.
