Long way to go to get to 478

I’d love this team to set the new points record. Just another way to showcase OITNF to recruits and cement both Dungey and Dino’s dominance

Scanning down that list brought back dark memories of 2005. 152 points.. :(

Remember we scored 70 against Rutgers in 98. Also dropped 63 v Cincy and 66 v Miami that year. And we finished 8-4 and 25th in polls. Such a letdown year when you look at the talent we had.

My memory is nowhere nears as good as most posters, but can you imagine how many points we would put up on Rutgers this year? Their D may be worst than UConn's.

Just how pathetic is that?

Rutgers 2018 is currently at 121 points with four games to go. At their current average they would outscored our 2005 campaign by 29 points. Hopefully the gauntlet they face to finish the year pitches a couple shutouts

I remember sitting in the Dome for a game against South Florida that season. They honored Jim Brown at halftime.

I’m not sure we crossed the 50 yard line the entire game. Didn’t even come close to scoring. Just...the worst.

I’m so happy we’re good again and fun to watch again. It was a long, long road.

I was just looking at those years - holy crap! Needless to say, anything that made it through those years can never be called a fair weather fan.
Look at this list. There are teams who have scored more in one season than we scored in four years of Gerg. Heck look at 2008 Oklahoma and 2013 FSU. We were seriously deprived and it is no wonder fans faded from memory.
