I sat in the dome and watched that tonight. In 2025. Absolutely disgraceful what this staff put on the field tonight.

And to have 1 QB throw the ball. A lacrosse player at that.

It’s beyond ridiculous and this is not an overreaction. I cannot believe what I saw.

What the absolute hell was done at practice all week?

Don't worry, the coaches will tell you that none of the QBs know the playbook, that seems to be the standard answer these days. I guess the QBs play table tennis in practice instead of learning the playbook.

It was his first game so I think we can give him a 2nd chance. But if he starts I think Collins should be QB2.

If Carney doesn’t start he shouldn’t play again until BC. Kid hasn’t been given a fair shot and has been used in garbage mins thus far.

They ran that nice little rollout pass early in the second half. Offensive highlight of the game from my perspective. O line was bullied all night long.

I bailed on our game early in the 4th quarter and flipped on a tremendous World Series game.

In between innings I flipped over to ESPN2 and watched a few minutes of Northern Arizona vs. Idaho. FCS teams. Neither QB was a world beater and yet both were much, much better than what we rolled out onto the turf last night. They'd both be well below average FBS QBs, and wouldn't win many games, but they knew how to field a snap, look off a receiver or two, throw the ball to a point on the field, and generally know what they're doing.

Why we don't have one guy like that on our roster is mind blowing. Who on earth is our QB coach? Who's recruiting these guys? Just a complete cluster.

Normally I would say give a guy a second chance. But seriously, after what I witnessed last night, I think I can say with full confidence that this young man is not a college football QB. My thought while I was watching was how bad must Jakhari Williams be as a kid that’s been in the program for 2 years now and not beat out what we saw last night. I’m in favor of getting through the rest of this mess with Rickie.

I thought he was fine other than the throwing part. He saw the field, he made plays.

The oline was beyond bad. He actually tried to make reads, and it was over before he could

his accuracy was bad which killed his good decisions.

I feel that’s exactly what Fran wants you to think. See I was right Ricky was our best option to win. How easy people forget his multiple picks and bad decisions when you put in a walkon at qb versus really giving any other of your scholarship players a real chance. How would we know I haven’t seen anyone but a walkon and Ricky. Carney only gets to hand the ball off. I’ve been seeing depth charts all season. It continued to list Carney and Williams but somehow a walkon jumped everyone. Come on. This seems more of a coach wanting to say he was right.

This is my big take away as well and who is evaluating the QBs? Who is decide what they see will actually translate to the field? Running out a walk on LAX player is disrespectful to not only players on the team but the fans supporting the team.

Whatever explanation I've been able to think up, it's bad and speaks poorly of someone.

I haven’t seen a worse performance. Sadly, I think this was a purposeful tact on his part to play a lax player at QB.
