Number one key to continued successful resurgence of Syracuse University Football is to remain as healthy as possible for as long as possible. Coach Babers doesn't say things just to hear himself talk. As he has said more than once, team depth is not where it needs to be yet. That being said, my number two key is for the continuation of players who have previously been off the radar because they were not eligible (Adams and Jackson, we got a glimpse of what they can bring in the bowl game) or Cisco and Szmyt last year to happen again this year. Kpogba, Jones, Wallace, Williams, Armstrong, Richards etc. at linebacker, Nunn in the secondary or return specialist. Just to have a continuation of new blood stepping in and playing at top ACC caliber play. My number three is a combination. The offensive line jells quickly and they allow the running game to allow Tommy DeVito to become that much more of a threat. I just have a feeling that what we will see from him this year and beyond is what Coach Babers has been talking about since he arrived. A prolific passer who has a tremendous running game to keep opposing defenses on their heels. It's tough to keep it to just four keys. Continued pressure from the defensive line, continued good play in the secondary and of course, Coach Lustig keeping the special teams play among the best in the nation. However, number four for me is almost as important as number one. How does Syracuse University Football deal with the success of 2018? Do they now realize that they are not going to sneak up on anyone this year? It is extremely important that they continue to play with that "chip" on their shoulders. That they continue to have that one game at time mentality for them to be successful. If they do, they sky really is the limit. They are poised to join the big boys club and how they approach that will have a lot to do on how how this season goes. This is just my humble opinion, but I have not been this excited to find out in a very very long time. Go Orange!!!!!!!!!!!!
