Another "University of Syracuse" commit. Gotta love it!
What a douche. Schools with way less history and much less to offer have built themselves into Top 20 schools after being down or without having much history to begin with.Lindsley being Lindsley. Its remarkable.
Amen longislandcuse!! Between this Bozo and Sal Namimo( or whatever his name is), whose comment of" I would tell him not to ruin his life", a big in your face. I hate local talk goofs who audition their HIDEOUS stand-up comedy acts ( usually with Syracuse as the butt of their unfunny, stupid jokes)on our airwaves. What a douche. Schools with way less history and much less to offer have built themselves into Top 20 schools after being down or without having much history to begin with.
How did they do that?
A) They coached up some solid recruits and became a winning program attracting good players.
Or
B) They had great recruiters who brought in a big name or two which started to snowball. I'm sure their local toolbag reporters thought the same thing when they got their first big time recruit, until it snowballed and became the norm to shut up said yokel reporters.
Lindsley being Lindsley. Its remarkable.
That was awesome!!!!Robert speaks for himself
That was awesome!!!!
His comment about how one player can bring along some other players and change the program gave me chills.
Some people have their biases against Jameis Winston but watching that interview gave me a very "Jameis-vibe" strictly in terms of that infectious smile and attitude with his clearly strong leadership attributes.
It must suck to be him. I mean, think about it. He essentially loathes the town he works in, and he's so bad he can't move on. He literally rips the city, but the no talent ass clown can't move to another place because he sucks out loud so bad. That has to be an awful realization for someone. I can understand his anger, but maybe he should get into another career where he actually has a chance to move up. It's obvious he just doesn't have the chops for sports talk.Lindsley being Lindsley. Its remarkable.
I will be very, very, very, very disappointed if he isn't wearing 44 when he starts spring practice for us in 2016.Robert speaks for himself
As he was already up last year for the FSU game, I'd bring him up whichever weekend there are other recruits that are at the top of the coachs' board. So next question - when do you bring him up for the official visit? Big game like LSU/Clemson? Likely win such as Rhode Island or CMU (or WF)?
Probably a long shot, but I wonder if this caught the attention of Wohlabaugh at all.As he was already up last year for the FSU game, I'd bring him up whichever weekend there are other recruits that are at the top of the coachs' board.
Big game. He's coming here to beat those teams not the cupcakes. Maybe our squad will finally step up in big games at home starting this year. The Dome has the capability to be right there with Death Valley if we start winning. So next question - when do you bring him up for the official visit? Big game like LSU/Clemson? Likely win such as Rhode Island or CMU (or WF)?
I was waiting for that to fire a few up on this board. It always has.
Silly...
I wasn't "fired up by it" I was amused by it. Your assumptions are silly.
That will be the first backfield in college to have all 3 starters in the pro hall of famePretty incredible when you think we had Csonka, Little and Coughlin in the backfield.
This^^^There's a whole generation of radio and media guys who grew up idolizing Jim Rome type hosts, it's reflected in their work. For a guy like me, it's unlistenable, although, I know some dig that type of thing.
This has to be some added incentive (not that you really should need more) and pressure to have a solid 2015 season, no?
I haven't been crazy about Shafer so far but I think Washington is far more valuable to the program than a coaching change even if we're awful this year. Look at the dominos that fell from firing P and Ray Rice going to RU... I think this committment buys Shafer and co. another year regardless of how we do this coming season.Robert has stated that a losing season wouldn't effect his commitment... however a coaching change would.
