Former SU LB coach Clark Lea followed Elko to South Bend from Wake Forest. There is a lot of talk now on ND boards regarding whether Clark will follow Elko to Collego Station or stay at ND and possibly become their DC.

Lea was named the Notre Dame DC today.

The finances of pro sports are infinitely more sane than those of college sports.

yeah, I am glad everybody working at Amazon is making 1 million a year because the head guys are making 25-50 million..

Actually Bezos is worth over $100B and a signiciant number of his employees are on food stamps.

Cool story...but the insanity is really only in the top 50-100 programs. There are literally 1000's of schools playing college sports from JUCO, NAIA, D-3 through the P-5.

Until spending controls or TV money dries up it won't stop at the largest schools.
