Scott Frost.
Have any concerns that he's probably off to Nebraska after this season?
Scott Frost.
Honestly? Do you get how college football works? This isn't the NFL where you can make trades and draft players to improve your team in 1-2 years. You first have to get good talent to choose to go to Syracuse NY, and play in front of 20,000 fans. You have close to 20 years of horrible football to overcome. You have to install a new offense and defense, and completely change the culture. I work with 3 guys that all played D1 football. All of them went through a coaching change at some point in college. They all had the same conclusion. Switching a coaching staff, and bringing in a completely new system, is absolutely devastating to a team. I've got bad news for you. Probably wont be scoring 40 ppg next year either. If you want to check back in in a couple of years and decide that it's now cool to route for Syracuse because they're good now, I'm sure they'll wait for you. In the meantime you can always go route for a team that is already established, or you can do what Dino told us we would have to do when he got hired, and practice patience. Dino made no bones about it. He said from day one, that this big of a rebuild, would require time, and patience from the fans. I'm all in. Are you?I was promised 40 ppg with this offense. Where is it?
Stop the agenda posting. Nobody cares.
Talk football and make your points, it’s not that hard.
Most people???Stop what? Most people on this board told me when babers was hired we'd score 40 ppg. 1.5 years in and how many times have this team scored 40?
Which OC do you want to fire? Also the three of them talk about plays they want to call so it's not just one person calling all the plays. Those OC's where also the same the last year at BGSU where that offense was lights out...Bottom line is this. Oc stinks and needs to be replaced. Id rather babers call his own plays based on the last year and a half. If he doesn't want to find someone else who will. If inside zone and a qb read off that is your only run game choices them our in trouble.
Do they count when Miami, Ohio State, Michigan, or any other powerhouse boost their stats by playing those 1aa teams...which about 99% of D1 teams do?Shitty 1aa teams don't count on my eyes

Yeah I’m glad you don’t make any choices for Syracuse. Both of them.

What advantages do they give this team each week?Yeah I’m glad you don’t make any choices for Syracuse.
Then remove the points scored by every D1 team playing a 1aa team.We scored 55 points against ccsu. That does not count in my eyes. Start with the mtsu game then go from three 5

we need to get over the 30 pt hump against UL/Pitt/Wake/BC. I dont think Clemson we can without some breaks. Miami did not show me much last night vs Duke, and who knows where FSU will be by then.
but to be scoring without a running game or a deep threat and an Avg Oline does make you wonder where we can get too,
Scott Frost.
You probably wanted to fire the d-coordinator after last year too. Were you on the whole, "the tampa 2 can't work in college" bandwagon too? Not seeing too many people complain about the scheme this year. Granted we are far from the 85 bears, but the improvement has been impressive, and the system clearly can work. Again...as players keep learning, and the talent keeps improving, the systems suddenly seem better. Both of them.
So then who would you hire next year?
If you say he wouldn’t leave Syracuse for Nebraska then I’ll hang up and not listen.
You DO notice we are blitzing a ton more this year right? Most of the criticism of the D centered around lack of pressure and refusing to blitz to create said pressure...You probably wanted to fire the d-coordinator after last year too. Has be left yet or is there talk of him leaving? That a serious question as i do not follow cfb outside of syracuse
Of course, but the amount of pressure from the line has been noticeable as well. You DO notice we are blitzing a ton more this year right? Most of the criticism of the D centered around lack of pressure and refusing to blitz to create said pressure...
That's kind of obvious
