Honestly? Do you get how college football works? This isn't the NFL where you can make trades and draft players to improve your team in 1-2 years. You first have to get good talent to choose to go to Syracuse NY, and play in front of 20,000 fans. You have close to 20 years of horrible football to overcome. You have to install a new offense and defense, and completely change the culture. I work with 3 guys that all played D1 football. All of them went through a coaching change at some point in college. They all had the same conclusion. Switching a coaching staff, and bringing in a completely new system, is absolutely devastating to a team. I've got bad news for you. Probably wont be scoring 40 ppg next year either. If you want to check back in in a couple of years and decide that it's now cool to route for Syracuse because they're good now, I'm sure they'll wait for you. In the meantime you can always go route for a team that is already established, or you can do what Dino told us we would have to do when he got hired, and practice patience. Dino made no bones about it. He said from day one, that this big of a rebuild, would require time, and patience from the fans. I'm all in. Are you?

Bottom line is this. Oc stinks and needs to be replaced. Id rather babers call his own plays based on the last year and a half. If he doesn't want to find someone else who will. If inside zone and a qb read off that is your only run game choices them our in trouble.

we scored 26. we had 4 off the board on something that had nothing to do with the play.. we lost a int on somehting that nothing to do with the play, we missed a FG and didnt kick 2 more because we were chasing what we missed earlier.. thats 40 against a D that held FSU to 21. as bad as LSU is playing on D they only allowed 17 all year and 26 vs SU.

Do they count when Miami, Ohio State, Michigan, or any other powerhouse boost their stats by playing those 1aa teams...which about 99% of D1 teams do?

They know the offense and have proven with talent can have an outstanding product on the field. They are both solid coaches.

Who is the last offensive player we had drafted? Pugh and Nassib 5 years ago? It’s a talent issue.

I think it’s impressive that these guys have a backup from Maryland and a former RB lighting the record books up. If they get better talent in here(which they seem to be doing but it takes time to take effect), I don’t think scoring points will be a problem. We’ll see. It’s year 2 and the well was dry. Give them a legit chance.

We have 1 run play. Inside zone with a read sometimes. It does not work. I wouldn't always place blame on the ol.

Not seeing too many people complain about the scheme this year. Granted we are far from the 85 bears, but the improvement has been impressive, and the system clearly can work. Again...as players keep learning, and the talent keeps improving, the systems suddenly seem better.

Of course, but the amount of pressure from the line has been noticeable as well.
