They'll get picked off at somewhere...UCLA, CAL, AZ ST, Washington or Oregon. Pac 12 is better than the ACC.

Pac-12 is pretty good. Arizona and Oregon are legit. UCLA, Colorado are tournament teams. California and Stanford both are bubble teams. Washington, Washington State, Utah Arizona State are mediocre. Oregon State, USC aren't good, but according to Bill Walton USC is going to be one of the most fun teams to watch because Andy Enfield is throwing down with practically every Pac-12 team and is already universally hated in that conference.

UNC and Duke still the only other ranked ACC teams...FL State and Pitt are the only other ACC teams to even receive votes.

Looks like our OOC schedule might have been tougher than the ACC schedule!

Does the point total really mean anything? It's not like there's a chance that Ohio State overtakes us or anything. The only real chance for us moving one way or another is if one of loses.

Point total is meaningful when you're below 7th... That's where the crapshoot in rankings usually lies with voters...

Anyway, about that basketball thing, I never really considered whether the PAC-10 could be at least as good as the ACC, but man do you guys have a point.
