63rd yards per play, 110th yards per game (vs fbs)

Well, while we're on the subject, I NEVER understand what you're trying to say. Nobody does. Where do you find these rankings. If we are that low in ypg it's because of defense and not offense. Yards per play? Did you make that up? Because it makes no sense to me. Understand this..our problem is on defense, not offense.
thanks. Your contributions are very valuable to me

If Parris catches that stick route and doesnt let the ball get picked we go on and score to make it 24-13 get the win and this thread would have never been started. We are over analyzing people. The defense have to get off the field. We have youth at the skill positions. That is the cause for some of those stats.

I think this is why you need to treat nearly every 3rd and short situation as a two-down situation, why you need to go at least 60-40 passing, and so on. That way, you can better make up for the drop that "cost" the game. We all know by now that it's not going to happen on defense. And if you fail, you fail. You're doing it already. One TD through a 4th and short conversion is still better than two chipshot FGs. And a loss by 3 hurts just as much as a loss by 17.

D, it's both.

Fact is to win they either need to find a way to run more plays or get more out of the possessions they have to make up for the defense.

It shows when they do have, they aren't awful, they just don't have the ball enough in a game to generate yards, which lead to points unless you are getting short fields or gift points.

This kind of thinking gets us in to all kinds of trouble. Not a rabbit hole we should be going down.

That's why I'd like to see Custis, and Enoicy, who are big targets over the middle. Lester has to come to the realization, his 2nd team receivers are bad, a total of 7 receptions in 7 games is unacceptable at any level. That puts way too much pressure on Eric, and others, to make something out of nothing, when they are in the game.

I agree. Good solution to the problem that was addressed in this thread

I get what you are saying. We still need to address the problems that causes us to have these below average rankings. You are right about that. I Still think if the defense was better the stats would be much different.
