8-2 nfl talent

I think Eric gets drafted. Once you get past the obvious guys who will go he stacks up well vs guys like McSorley. Probably 6th or 7th round but there will be interest.
Dungey would make for an incredible Mr. Irrelevant.

I think Dungy sticks. He has the intelligence arm strength and leadership qualities to make it. He would really benefit from a QB coach who would work on his mechanics.

Dungey’s shot at the NFL will come at TE, not QB

Devito is getting drafted. Nfl arm. Dungey is Hill from the Saints. A smart team will grab him and play him in 3 diff spots. Could see his intelligence on the Patriots

Robinson May go this year. He’s a speed rusher in the chandler mold. I feel like he’s a top 3 round talent.

If you completely ignore whether or not Dungey is talented enough to play any position in the NFL -

He's had season-ending injuries for three of his years at SU. We know about a broken foot and at least one concussion but there have been other injuries.
Even after all of that, his level of caution on the field is still questionable. He still uses stiff arms and attempted hurdles.

I doubt NFL teams want to take a flyer on a guy with his injury record and style of play.
He's successful at SU because he has a lot of heart. The NFL has no heart.

Taysom Hill - R-SR year: 2323 passing yards, 12 TD, 11 INT, 603 rushing yards, 8 rushing TDs - Went undrafted.

Julian Edelman - SR year: 1820 passing yards, 13 TD, 11 INT, 1370 rushing yards, 13 rushing TDs - 7th Round.

Eric Dungey - SR year: 2193 passing yards, 14 TD, 5 INT, 690 rushing yards, 12 rushing TDs with 3 games to go.

I think he's worth a late round flyer for a team looking to find a guy that has the athleticism to succeed. The question is does he get invited to the combine.

if you are gonna get drafted that late, probably better for most to not get drafted at all and sign with the team you have the best shot at making. While ED might be an NFL QB he would be a step up on what the giants/bills are running out there right now. as a 3rd QB/TE/STs dude he has value if he is fast enough

Dungey is worth a shot as a late rounder for the simple reason that you can't teach what he possesses in terms of fire, passion and ability. Sure, he has glaring concerns, but he knows how to move the chains.

If he can finish out this year, alot of his injury past will be minimized if he gets invited to the Combine. If he can't make it as a player, I fully expect to see Dungey as a HC someday in college.

Watching all three, Dungey is more similar in body type/athletic ability to Hill than Edelman. The Saints are using Hill in all sorts of ways.

Hill is quite an athlete though, not sure ED is quite on his level: BYU Pro Day

As the boards resident Saints fan I agree Dungey reminds me of Hill. I think Dungey actually is the better thrower though.

You are missing our best, cant miss prospect...Slayton. yup, Robinson and Coleman possibly along with trill anbd Cisco, but Melifonwu might be the best of all the dbs and his frame and skills scream Sunday. i think our OL has some pros too. Servais is big, fast, and durable and can play all 5 positions abd Conway and a few of the young guards can play.

Absolutely agree with this, #23 will be a problem. He made some nice plays in his time on the field would be a huge plus against ND.

I don't know how Robinson isn't getting more buzz this year... He is a Junior right. He should easily be a 2nd/3rd rounder right now if he decided to leave but he is getting zero buzz. Not that I'm complaining

Melifonwu has NFL blood too
