My Mom was 99 in November and she hates it when SU loses. She never showed the least interest until she was nearly in her 70's. The last several years she's been too nervous to watch, and strangely I'm getting that way. So she stays in her bedroom and yells out for the score every three minutes. If the Orange is behind she'll add "they're going to lose, aren't they?' "Mom, it isn't even halftime."

So tonight she's very unhappy. Her comment will be, "They aren't very good, this year. are they?" With that comment she'd be welcome here.

Last spring, after a series of infections, they wanted to put her in hospice and discontinue treatment. She wanted to see how SU did in the tourney and told them no way. She wasn't about to cash it in basketball season.
