I just hope and assume that coach Schafer will not let that well-played game against LSU go to the players head. With a few less LSU penalties the score could have been much closer to what the pundits predicted. Great game to be in the dome for but we are not world beaters and the next game will not be a “piece of cake”. Think Central Michigan or Wake Forest!!!!!

We lost by 10, sure hope there isn't big heads over a 10 point loss that easily could have been more.

could have been more, lot of near misses for SU on tape, could have been less as well.

I agree but we lost. Don't think big heads should be an issue after a loss

That would be classic.

Well, the players, they got big heads after that 10 point loss, thought they could beat anyone.

After losing the game.

Coming off a 3-9 season.

But you're right. Speaking from personal experience, a big head does not fit well into a helmet. Or a hat. Or through a door case.

If anything, the team gained confidence after losing to a top 10 team, but I don't think we need to worry about them getting arrogant. The veterans remember last year's 3-9 debacle, and the youngsters don't know any better.

I like how we're positioned. I hope the team believes they can win every game.

What I liked about Saturdays game was that there were alot of plays where SU had players in open space. The play calling and blocking were excellent. That more then the score gave me hope for the remaining games.

I like this actually motivates the hell out of the team. They seem like a humble and hungry team set out to prove last year's record was a small bump in the road. No big heads on this team after they lose.

If there is anything these coaches do consistently, it's NOT let their players get big heads. They hate the selfish, I'm better than you crap.

Which is precisely why we are better than them.
