A board favorite just got suspended

seems like the girl behind the counter was giving it back to her..and most of the other girls comments were edited out..so who knows how much instigating was going on there. And who releases this type of video? toughen up people. handle your crap like adults.

Suspended for 1 week - she got off pretty light.
If the firestorm stays hot today, she'll absolutely be fired. She didn't even apologize to the woman in her "I had a stressful moment" half arsed apology.

I have no idea who this lovely young thing is. In the video she looks like she just woke up. How can anybody recognize her?

She surely handled her crap like an adult.

Seriously. Haven't we all wanted to tell off a cop who gave us a ticket, or when we were given a parking ticket ? during the heat of the moment. I have never had my car towed but i imagined be the same feeling (plus then they charge you an arm and leg to get your car out of impound)

I know i have. Luckily been able to bite my tongue.

This. When I saw the story yesterday, my first thought was why we weren't hearing what led up to the insults and what the clerk was saying. I'm not saying it would excuse her behavior, but it would certainly provide context. We all know clerks for tow truck companies and impound lots aren't always the most pleasant people in the world.

Without knowing the full story, it's hard to tell if the woman was deserving of an apology. Yes, the good PR move is to apologize, but I'd personally find it hard to apologize for saying terrible things to a person's face if that person was doing something to deserve the insults. We'd all love to take the high road, but that doesn't always happen.

I'm not condemning the clerk, but I'm not going to condemn the reporter either until the whole story comes out. Maybe she is a bad person, but I suspect there's more to this.

Still comes back to personal responsibility, be mad at yourself. They typically only tow your car if you have parked it illegally. They don't tow because your meter ran out and even if they did, still your fault for not feeding the meter.

I can certainly understand the frustration but unless the attendant personally attacked Britt first, wow... that's some venom being unleashed right there.

She has a Masters in Journalism from Northwestern!!!! She should of just kept her mouth shut (especially after the Attendant told her that she was being taped)! I think she let her hangover get the best of her!

Having been towed (unfairly) in Arlington - the cops and towing companies work together at this. It's a racket and you're treated like you killed a person. So she lost her crap at someone who is part of a not so nice enterprise, no issues with it.

Spoiled brat entitlement syndrome. Not bright either. When she was informed about the camera recording her, she must have thought the camera was from the silent movie era. Never heard of her before this, never liked her. http://www.ftvlive.com/todays-news/2015/4/17/espn-suspends-reporter-for-berating-woman
No excuse for her to come unhinged. However, towing companies that pray on people like that can't expect people to be warm and fuzzy. They jacked her car on the pretext that it was "illegally" parked .. seems like a scam.

No doubt. Meanwhile, Brian Williams is saying to himself, dang, why didn't I go that route rather than attempting to glorify his story about a hero veteran during a Rangers game at MSG as well as on the air.
