I was reading the Boneyard in preparation for the game tomorrow. I saw the following thread and was amused, the Boneyard does deserve a few points for creativity.

If we WERE tailgating this weekend, these would be on the menu:

Orange-Cranberry bread
Orange grilled chicken breasts and/or wings
Jalapeno poppers (lots of peppers in the garden) with orange sauce on the side
Mimosas
Cheesy potato casserole
Orange-sesame stir fried broccoli
FRUIT salad
Cole slaw with orange zest
and beer (of course)

Other Boneyard members recommended some additions which include:

Why stop at just orange? Go with the flavor blood orange to really send a message!

Heck, if it's just a theoretical menu, why not boiling (orange) lobsters?

Or duck a l’orange?

Some really good blood orange IPA's and sours out there.

Glad opponents can have a little fun with the games.

They won't have any fun once the game starts.

Cheesy potato casserole

Don't get me wrong. I love cheesy potatoes. But where does this fit in? Orange colored cheddar on top?
I assume as much. You must recall, they are UConn fans, this is their best shot at humor.

Wish they'd play the Oregon St or South Carolina. Could get pretty creative with those menus
