Only 1.5 weeks into conference play and there are only 3 remaining undefeated teams. Gtown and Cinci, being two of the teams, play each other on Monday, so there will be a maximum of 2 undefeated teams in the BE next week.
Syracuse is now 3-0 in true road games. The rest of the top 5 in the polls (UK, UNC, Duke, Baylor) are a combined 3-4. Include Ohio State in that record and they are a combined 4-6 in true road games.
There have been only 7 road wins in the Big East so far (7-12, 37%). Take away SU's two BE road wins and everyone else is 5-12 (29%).
Never underestimate the difficulty of getting road wins.
