A few questions that need to be asked and answered

Is there a new more recent allegation? Has the law changed since 2005 concerning statute of limitations? Why is a Police Sgt confirming an investigation when the Police Chief (commisioner?) says he'd be suprised because they wouldn't be able to prosecute the crime if it did happen due to how long ago it was?

The legal aspect wouldn't affect SU's responsibility, but they apparently did their due diligence in 2005.
