I assume and maybe I shouldn’t QB will work itself out through the portal, I’m most worried about linebacker and D line. We will have some weapons on offense but we are going to be playing some big time offenses.

The team seems really thin LB. There’s only one incoming LB in the next class.
A lot of DBs will be on the roster, though.
Either some DBs could be moved to LB or our DC may be experimenting with a 3-2-6 defense.

It’s gonna be a tough year, but will benefit from it and give us three more years as the man. Next year is a pass given the gauntlet.

I know there was speculation that Savion Washington might have another year but pretty sure that was debunked. Can’t remember but maybe Axe had it confirmed by the school?

All Arch Manning jokes aside it’s too bad the schedule lines up with two freshmen qb’s. Just based on their Hudl highlights my preference would be Carney, but that’s a very thin basis to go by.

We’ve been spoiled this year.

Zero chance he starts the season as the starter.

Running scout team is a lot different than playing in a game. He has zero in game experience.

Not having a veteran QB entering next season would be insane.

If all three of Derek McDonald, Duce and Buxton are starters, I’ll stop being a fan. These guys are either too slow or take horrible tackling angles.

I’d love to move DM to on line LB or dline (he’s not fast or quick enough to play in space) but is tough as nails.

Duce had a great hit/coverage against UCONN but his overall season has been a disappointment.

Buxton is a complete mind boggle to me, everytime I see a 50-75 yrd run, I see I’m take a terrible angle or just get run by. He’s not good. Am I the only one who see this??

We also have 2 4 stars coming in the DB field. I’d expect Samuel to be a starter at either of the safety spots…Singleton could be a safety or boundary CB.

Portal will be interesting since Fran said he won’t hammer it like last year. I bet we bring in 10-12 tho. Lots on the line of scrimmage, he’ll get 2-3 of guys he recruited in the past, and then they will go after difference makers that they need.

I’d say they add 1 qb to compete. Carney WILL NOT start a game in year 2.
