WR Adrian Coxson, Maryland. His Bio

He started out at Florida. In high school he was a top 250 player in the nation. “I’ve been in two bad situations coming out of high school that unfortunately didn’t work out. So it’s time to play some football now.” When he transferred to UM Ralph Friedgen was there. Under Edsall he was a backup, did well when injuries ahead of him occurred but got little PT after that, thus the transfer. Because he had transferred twice he was supposed to sit out a year. He appealed that decision. We talked about him a lot on our board.
Here is a Baltimore Sun article on him.

Here is Coxson's game against BC where he got some PT

So we beat a pretty good FCS team - one with lots of former FBS players. I wouldn't be surprised if Stony Brook goes deep in the FCS playoffs. They could probably win it all. Looks like their coach has made a living picking up troubled, but talented former BCS players.
