A note from SWC’s brother

We, the admins and mods, sent a “Thinking of You” card to Steve while he was at the Francis House with a note about Steve the person, the poster and the SU fan.

His brother Dave, who lives in Hawaii, sent a thank you card that was received today. I want to share that card here because I look at it as being to everyone on this forum.

Definitely does. And though a lot of people here may disagree with coaching, recruiting, etc. I have so much respect for all of you. We miss Steve immensely

I will always remember Steve, his attention to detail on everything he did. Total essays about one game and why we would win and why we wouldn't. An exceptional man who made this board better.

We learned a lot about Steve, the man, prior to and after his death. If this board continues for 100 more years, there will never be another Steve. The time involved, the love, the passion, the commitment. He wrote all those long, detailed oriented post as much for us, as for himself. We won't realize how much we will miss him, until the season is upon us and there are no more season previews, no more coach's show recaps, no more net points and no more game previews. He and Orangeyes. Men that will never be replaced.
