Syracuse football is having a rough year. I understand - it happens. Life was already somewhat tough before the pandemic, and now the Orange struggle to even field a complete roster every weekend. Is there anything 'Cuse fans can take away to feel a little better about their team going into a game against the number one football program in America?

Yes, yes there is.

At the risk of sounding too much like a rah-rah, SEC-SEC-SEC type of a fan, you can take pride in the fact that your team is part of what appears to be the strongest football conference in college football. We're talking six teams in the AP Top 25 (most of any league)!

AP Poll - 10/18/20

The ACC can also boast two teams with only wins and no losses, along with four more which have only one loss - again, best in all of FBS.

Unbeaten (or One-Loss) Teams - 10/18/20

What's more, you can take solace in the fact that F-plus reckons Syracuse, as bad as the football team has been, is still better than Vanderbilt, Rutgers and Kansas.

Oh, yeah, don't forget: right now Syracuse still has more wins than Penn State and Ohio State.

So there you have it, Orange fans - life isn't so bad when you really look at the numbers! Now, go catch a Tiger!

One thing we have learned so far the way things have gone this year and this season is never say never again.

If you're looking for a title for this Saturday's Syracuse/Clemson game, how about "A View to a Kill"?

Is Trevor Lawrence "The Man With The Golden Gun"? ;)

They're going to beat the Living Daylights out of us.
Yep, you put your goldfinger on it. The way Clemson is playing the world is not enough for them this year.

It’ll be Skyfall in Tigerland if we win.

Hopefully Rex comes out with a Thunderball or two (not that kind, Chip).

There is almost dr no chance of us winning, but if we can get within even 2 or 3 scores it will cast a huge spectre of doubt about how good Clemson really is.
