or others: how soon will it be that an early draft entry doesn’t get drafted, doesn’t sign with an agent , and Sue’s the NCAA a to allow him to play again. The fact that someone in that circumstance can’t play is ridiculous.

Didn‘t Maurice Clarett‘s lawsuit to get into the draft early, that resulted in multiple kids (including some HS kids) opting out of the NCAA result in somebody suing to get back into college? I feel like one of those HS kids did so because their whole career got screwed over when whichever court repealed the decision before the draft.

I could be wrong about this, but declared football players can't change their minds like declared basketball players. Which is weird.
I thought FB and BB players can declare but return to their team as long as they don't sign with an agent.

I think it was WR Mike Williams from Southern California. Could be wrong but I remember him being part of that lawsuit.

I've argued for years that guys that leave with eligibility remaining but have hit a roadblock in the pros should be able to come back, get their degree and play for the schools' team while they are doing it to get their careers back on track.
