At the start, I was set rooting against UK last night, but found myself wanting them to take the title by the end of the game. Why? I was just so impressed with Anthony Davis. So dominating w/o scoring much. Some of his rebs and blks were amazing demonstrations of talent and artfulness on the court.
On ESPN channels, Bob Knight makes the Bill Russell comparison. Larry Brown makes Wilt, Big O, and Russell comparisons. And I can only agree----the kid really plays a tranformative game with great focus and effort.
Sorry, but I don't think any big man in the class of 2012-13 -- not NN or anyone else-- comes in and demonstrates anything near AD's game.
