Kaiser, you've been doing your homework! Seriously, if their young QB stays healthy, they could challenge.

They have a lot more questions than people are taking about. They've lost a lot of offensive linemen and a lot of defensive starters. They just had a starting DT quit football.

Luckily, they've strung together a lot of depth through recruiting. But if the injury bug hits? Could be a surprising fall.

Clemson's schedule is strong enough if they go 11-1 and win the ACC they will be in contention for a playoff spot.
non-conference games vs. Notre Dame and @ South Carolina.
conference games @Louisville, @ Miami(Fl), Florida State, Georgia Tech.

That is strong enough for them to be a playoff team. I have them as the 4th team because I think the Pac-12 Champion will have 2 losses and Clemson's sked will be harder enough to get them in.
