High school recruits who are ready to be in a 9-ish man rotation from day 1.

2nd, 3rd and 4th year guys (who were those freshmen) that stay due to NIL and playing time.

Portal additions from mid majors and P5s looking for $$$ and/or playing time.

Seems like that gets you to 12-ish.

Feels like the 2nd, 3rd years guys will be looking to upgrade every year as well for money and playing time. The constant dual focus on recruiting and retention is going to be exhausting.

We've been in that space for a few seasons already. Freeman stayed, Starling stayed. Looks like Kiyan and Sadiq will stay, and maybe Kingz if he's eligible.

I don't think having enough guys to practice is an issue in not recruiting HS kids who won't play.

To have a good one. I've heard of teams using coaches and managers to go 5 on 5.

This guy [IIRC] was an Alex Kline special -- someone that they identified with some of the right shooting, versatility, etc. for a wing.

It was pretty clear when he showed up that he was a developmental prospect, at best.
