I took a few shots this week at SUAD for giving away some tickets and thought it was a little "minor league" so to speak. Obviously this afternoon I wish they gave out even more tickets. So i'd like to start this post by removing my foot from my own mouth and owning up to that.
What. A. Game. I was talking all tailgate about how I think SU's defense was going to keep Clemson from covering. I thought our 3rd down defense (praying they'd even have 3rd downs) would be a game changer. Correct. 2 for 11? CLEMSON?! Incredible game plan and execution to get the ball back all night long.
Ish getting a touchdown taken away AGAIN for OPI is ridiculous. If that was OPI we could have it called every play. Terrible. Otherwise I thought the refs had a pretty quiet night, which is great.
It's been a while since I've heard the Dome that loud. Unfortunately our biggest crowds the last 4 or 5 years hadn't seen much on the field to be loud for. Last night was great. A lot of fans cheering loudly not only on 3rd down but 1st and 2nd. Awesome effort for those in attendance.
Can we carry the momentum into Miami? Losing their starting RB stinks for them but certainly helps us. I hope there is no hangover for this team as a road win at Miami would be electric for the program/fan base.
Can't wait to watch the replay later today though. AWESOME time to be Orange.
