That is one of the most impressive feats ever accomplished by a Syracuse team. I'm not sure casual fans realize that UVA is the best team in the nation per Kenpom. Technically they are #2 but Gonzaga at #1 accomplishes their work against Pepperdine and Santa Clara. You know what UVA has to go up against.

I did not think we could function against their defense, but we did just enough and our defense was spectacular in the 2nd half. Did I hear we shot over 70% in the second half? That is preposterous against a scrub team, but against this defense??? Holy schnikees!

Awesome job in all ways. Feel really good for JB to get #1000. Especially at home with the biggest crowd of the year on hand.
