Miami isn’t losing, SMU isn’t losing.I might be off but I think there is a path to a 6 way tie at 6-2 for 2nd place now
That would I think make the tie break conf win % of Opp.
Not likely 6 way tie but likely multiple school tie at 6-2.Yes it could happen but not likely. Wake would need to win out. Cuse would need to win out. Miami would need to lose to both. Then three of VA Tech, Louisville, Clemson, Pitt need to have 2 Ls.
Miami isn’t losing, SMU isn’t losing.
Maybe Clemson loses to Pitt or VT but not likely
SU isn’t running the table
Pitt is probably going to lose to Clemson and Lville
Lville is likely to end up 6-2, Pitt is the swing game.
VT isn’t running the table
I hope so.But are we facing Miami as a 9-2 team?
I say yes until a scoreboard tells me otherwise.
We could be the first SU team to be 9-2 or better at any point in the regular season since 1992. And the first SU team ever to win 4 straight games on the CW.
Not for 2nd place. Maybe menage a trois for 3rd place. Not likely 6 way tie but likely multiple school tie at 6-2.
But if Miami loses two games they are are all conference losses. They don't have any out of conference losses. So what then? Also Pitt doesn't have any out of conference losses so they would need to lose two more. That is certainly possible.I might be off but I think there is a path to a 6 way tie at 6-2 for 2nd place now

If Miami loses to GT this week we would need to close out with a W vs Miami, at BC and at Cal. Certainly not likely but possible?
Clemson just needs to either lose at VT or at Pitt. Certainly possible.
SMU needs to lose 2 of 3 vs BC, @ UVA, vs Cal. Not likely but possible.
Pitt nees to lose 1 more with games vs UVA, vs Clemson, @ Louisville @ BC. Likely to happen.
That’s if Haynes their QB is back. He’s reportedly day to daySMU won't lose two.
Could see Clemson and Pitt imploding.
If Miami drops a game we could potentially take their spot with a win and play SMU. I actually like GT this weekend to play them tough.
So a 3-4 way tie between us, Miami, and one or both of Pitt or Clemson.
