This is the natural consequence of the way the ESPN contracts are setting up, ya?
Correct and it kinda stinks. My dad went to a big 10 school so I’ve enjoyed watching these games with himThis is the natural consequence of the way the ESPN contracts are setting up, ya?
Well, that's not exactly unprecedented. Colgate smoked us two years in a row. You'll notice that Iona hasn't been to the Dome since Pitino took over.I can just see Alabama coming to the Dome, kicking our butts and Oats saying SU is soft.
Has already happened when he was at Buffalo in 2018/19ishI can just see Alabama coming to the Dome, kicking our butts and Oats saying SU is soft.
Didnt hurt Big East at all.Said this 4 months ago. Surprised it took so long to be announced. Unless ESPN tried to get fox to give them the entire contest. And once that failed they moved on.
But I wonder if this will hurt Big ten basketball. Not the challenge. But the fact they will be FS1 and never ESPN.
Exactly.Has already happened when he was at Buffalo in 2018/19ish
Their football money has come to fruition. You kinda knew this was going to happen. The SEC is beginning to dominate college basketball recruiting too. Besides Duke, the ACC recruiting in basketball is starting to drop. You can slowly see the athleticism moving into the SEC.
I think what you are seeing is the aging of the ACC basketball coaches. The ACC recently lost Coach K and Roy Williams, and Boeheim is 78, Hamilton is 74, Larranga is 73, and Brey is 63. Hard to recruit top players when the head coach could be gone in a year or 2. And, BC seems to have given up on sports, Pitt hasn't recovered from the transition from the Big East to the ACC, and Louisville has struggled since Pitino left and is a complete basket case right now.You kinda knew this was going to happen.
