ACC Bowl Games

2 today with UNC v Rutgers and NCST v UCF.


Needless to say UNC looks dreadful vs (gulp) Rutgers. The UNC defense is as bad as advertised, while their offense has looked just as bad, which is actually quite hard. Currently 20-0 RU with 2nd and goal, ball on UNC 4 with 20 seconds left in half.

This would be a bad start for the ACC, and it's even worse Rutgers is the one doing the manhandling. I was going to say the ACC really has some marquee matchups where they can show that 4-0 clean sweep of the SEC in the final week wasn't a fluke. Let's hope for a better 2nd half from UNC.

Can people stop with all the Rutgers bashing, taunting, and braggadocio now?? Stupidity on the part of Syracuse fans here. I seriously don't want to see it even IF Syracuse goes 8-4 next year and Rutgers struggles. Bunch of little boys who make statements like that.

How about just being thankful and appreciating when Syracuse does well instead of ripping on another program? That's a new idea, right? Of course I won't be heard, because as soon as Rutgers struggles, even though they may have just come off 10 ten win seasons and Syracuse 10 four win seasons, the jabbering and "swag" of the SU faithful will commence again because so many just can't help themselves.

Here's a thought: you don't need someone else to fail to feel good about yourself. Take that with you. It's a free piece of advice and a proverb that applies to all areas of life.

And I say all this hating Rutgers just as much as the next Syracuse dude.

Dear lord, what's the point of having a rival if you can't rip on them? I hate rutgers, uconn and georgetown more than any teams in sports. I'm sure that the hate will dissipate over time, but at this point it's still raw. And until new rivalries develop, you'll continue to see the posts ragging on those three schools.

It's sports, it's fun. The "hating" is part of the fun. I really hope we get to this point with BC, Duke and NC State (because I really don't like NC State), but we aren't there yet.

Duke played a crazy good game against ASU. Only an intercepted ball in the endzone with 40 seconds left saved ASU. I never expected this to be so close. ASU was a top 5 team before losing their two top QBs. The starter was back today, and I expected a blow out.

The worst part is when we have to hear how the PSU fans and program deserve the moment for all they had to go thru. Vomit. Maybe they can give the game ball to the forever screwed up young adults.
