ACC Fall Olympic Sports to Delay Competition Until at Least September 1

This announcement about Olympic sports is more alarming to me about the future (or lack thereof) of an untainted football season than just about anything else I've read on other threads.

Last year Men's soccer started the regular season on Aug 30, and the Women started on Aug 25.

There’s no reason to before then, really. Just like things got drastically worse in the last month they can get drastically better by the first week of August (not saying they will and don’t really want to discuss it anymore).

Just develop a model for every possible scenario and wait until a decision NEEDS to be made. Fingers crossed that numbers get better nationwide, conferences/schools start working together on testing/scheduling, and most importantly that teams can start actual practice on time without a large outbreak.

The probability seemingly gets worse everyday but a fall season is still possible.
