Kind of happy to hear Villari it seems will be starting TE.
I think back to a game he had against Clemson a few seasons back-
running over people , breaking tackles. And then how tough a runner he was out
of the QB position. I think he's going to be a "third and four" type of target.

I’m hoping the injury he dealt with last year really limited his catching ability. He didn’t seem as athletic as the year before and he was definitely dealing with a lot of issues all year. Him being healthy and a receiving option will
Be nice.

Yeah he just wasn't moving well at all last season. Looked like he had packed on some extra pounds too.

RIght there with you. I love how Dan did whatever he could to help the team 2 years ago. A real team player. But I'm concerned about him being the top option at TE based on what we saw last season and hope it was a health issue.

Say what you want about Jimbo but it was class and thoughtful for him to go to the Tallahassee hospital to see and visit Julian Whigham after the Chief was seriously injured in that FSU game. Julian had Cuse people stay behind with him and Jimbo didn't have to go to the hospital but he did.

100%. That and Dabo coming to our locker room after the 2017 upset were two of the classiest things I have seen by opposing coaches against us

Say what you want about villari but he is my type of guy. Someone who I’d want on my team.
He had an amazing response in one of his interviews at media day. He was asked he ever had thoughts about transferring since the Fran Brown era began. He basically said that the expectations on and off the field at Syracuse under Fran Brown are very high that he would feel that if he transferred out he would be taking the easy way out. As a fan, this fall, it really adds another perspective and gratitude for the players that simply just see the field because it’s very hard to see the field in a Syracuse jersey now.
