I was trying to understand what is meant by "Second Half of the Game" is a standalone game.

Perhaps its as you suggest - only major conference game going on at that time. P5 teams rarely play on Friday (except Pac-12).

I agree. It's why I'm starting to think this season may not be a total disaster. We just have to stink less than the other guys, and this year that option will be on the table more often than not

I never got the UNC love pre season. They lost their x factor in Manek. Now they are a team that isn't that great shooting it from deep and is far less effective on the boards than a normal UNC team. Nance is a ND type big and too soft. They could really have things go off the rails for them. Not to where we are but certainly to battling to get an NCAA bid.
