ACC Games for Feb 14-16

I understand that criticizing officiating is frowned upon here, but was that GW putback by Williams not basket interference?

They reviewed it as it initially was called interference. The replay showed the ball off the rim as well as slightly off to the side of the rim's circumference. Both Reese Davis along with the female analyst concurred afterwards that it wasn't and the hoop would count. And, it did.

Duke did just about everything they could to give that game away with so many turnovers, along with periods of not scoring after being up 19. The tying free throws by Wake that preceded that last second tip in, was, IMO, a questionable call as well. From my viewpoint, it appeared that Williams was completely vertical, and it was the Wake player that forced the contact with his off arm.

Duke can play great pressure defense as long as they are scoring. Their offense directly effects their defense. You have to attack Griffin. He’s a very poor defensive player. They can be driven on, unfortunately, SU can’t get by anyone.

Hahahaha I threw ND money line in a parlay. No way BC beats them...6-12 from 3, of course

Talk about huge FT discrepancies, ND was 33-39, where BC was 13-18. I think ND scored like 23-24 out of their last 30 points from the charity stripe.

All of BC’s bigs fouled out and ND’s bigs kept getting fouled. A couple of bigs for BC did not play.

Pitt still up 20 with under nine minutes left.

The ACC is beyond ridiculously bad, it’s ludicrously bad. BC without 2 of their bigs and the two others in serious foul trouble most of the game and fouling out and still nearly beating ND in South Bend. ND has to be the worst 12-3 ACC team in the history of the league.

UNC getting pummeled at home by Pitt too!

Duke is the only ACC team that’s worth a darn in the league this year, IMO.

Pitt up 6 with 1:49 left. NC making a huge run and Pitt stopping no one on defense. Love going against the entire Pitt team.

UNC is in trouble making the tournament. They have zero Quad 1 wins. They don’t have any quality wins and have been blown out by good teams.

Sure looked like basket interference to me

Loving Hubert Davis so far as the new UNC coach.
And Scheyer showed some real promise yesterday too! :):):)
There will definitely be growing pains and What losses with both. It's part of the natural transition of things.

Pitt winning at UNC last night and BC taking ND to OT gives me hope in those games. Now lets beat BC/Tech and roll the dice.
