The St John’s player who got knocked over by the Providence player on his layup was Bryce Hopkins who was the star at Providence for 3 years ( last year he got injured early in the season and redshirted for the friars). After redshirting he then transferred out of Providence to St John’s for his last year. The history there probably helped cause the aggression and fight after the foul.
