ACC Games for Feb 7-10

It’s so frustrating to think if we didn’t screw up at Wake and Pitt we’d be sitting at 9-4.
And our 1 pt loss to Miami at Miami, it would have been a big Q1 win.

I'd have to put them as the biggest disappointment in the ACC.
Of course, some people talk about how great a recruiter Leonard Hamilton is, but the guy historically is not a good X and O guy. Never was and never will be. 33 years as a head coach and only has been to one Elite Eight and four Sweet Sixteens. Not bad, but not great for all the accolades he gets. Will turn 74 this year. How much longer will he coach?

If you are not watching the Duke game, it's amazing what happened with Wendell Moore. Took a huge fall, after getting upended on a breakaway, and was able to get up unseemingly with no injuries. He's very lucky.

Here is the follow-up article from postgame. I actually buy David Collins' explanation as I look at the replay. It was incredibly reckless (as Collins said), but I do not believe there was intent to injure. A very poor choice was made in a split second during his chase down and things spiraled out of control in an instant. The chase down is very glamorous these days (LeBron), but it also opens up the prospect for serious injury for both the chaser and the chasee (is that a word).
I am no Duke fan or person, but am thrilled to see Moore is healthy and good.
And legit kudos to Brad Brownell on how he handled the situation. It defused a flammable situation in short order.

Greyson says "Hold my beer"

Nah, that dude be trippin.

THIS guy literally shoulder-checked a guy's legs out from under him.

(yeah, I know that Grayson "hard-fouled" a guy who broke his wrist recently, but I still think this was the much more egregious assault)

Greyson says "Hold my beer"

I can't recall Greyson's bullsht but this kid could've been paralyzed or killed. The clemson kid legit ran full speed, lowers his shoulder and linebackers the dukie. I've never seen anything like it.

he should have a multi game suspension if not just sit him for the rest of the year.

in the old days when old timers played we tried to block shots but not actually foul people.. now its all about the contact

I agree on the suspension, at least 5 games. That was an extremely dirty play, no place for that in basketball at any level. The Grayson comment is more related to the fact that his body of work cements his status, to me, as the dirtiest player I can think of when it comes to basketball. It will take more than one misguided hip check to replace him as basketballs lead goon.
