Clemson is on a 6 game heater undefeated in ACC play with Duke. 6 games in a row won by like 5-6 points.
Can't say I watched Cal play Virginia but couldn't help but notice Bells All 0's box score in 22 minutes of play. I wonder what his body language was like on the bench hah.

Stanford beating really good teams. ACC is going to be wide open.

We would be 14-1 if Brownell was our coach...

Maybe, I like to remind people that Brownell was the Head Coach at Clemson for 10 years before he made his 2nd NCAA tournament. Made 1 his 1st year and then didn't make another until his 10th year.

Not sure we'd have the patience as a fanbase to stick with that.

Clemson doesn't care about basketball and I am not talking about 10 years ago. I am talking NOW. They've been the second best program in the ACC for the past 3 years.

OK settle down brah. Just remember when the coaching search is going that Brownell is in his 25th year as a D1 Head Coach. Seeing alot of flavor of the month coaches being thrown out there.

Exactly. Brownell isn’t some savant. He’s a good coach but not spectacular. He was known for coaching stout defense early in his Clemson tenure but not for his offense, but he’s gotten much better there. If we land an experienced coach and proven program builder, one with a great offensive mind like Schertz, that’s how you win championships, which is what we want to do here at Syracuse.

Brownell has both a good offensive and defensive system and they execute night in night out. He has done that with barely a handful of guys with NBA talent just look it up. Clemson absolutely devalues hoops despite the gem they have in a coach.

He has just one losing record his entire D1 coaching career which was early on at Clemson. Nothing is guaranteed but he’s hardly had the same talent level there as we’ve had and can get here.

I don’t think pointing out his tenure is an indictment, we shouldn’t be a first job for a head coach. Red got the job and that comes with expectations
