ACC Games Week 1

I like Alabama-24.5 against Louisville.

The Cardinals have a complete rebuild and the Bama defense/special teams will be good for atleast 1 TD.

I actually think Lane will compete at OU.

Louisville's D is going to get torched this year, Vangorder is a bum of a DC and their defensive personnel isn't that great as is. Agree on Bama covering, and i wouldn't be shocked if FAU stays within 2 TDs of OU.

Miami puts a beat down on LSU. And Ed Orgeron gets fired by week 5. (Sorry Ed - you seem like a great guy)

Tulane is definitely the pick here. Not even much to debate compared to the other games. They are playing at home and return an experienced team including an all-conference QB. Wake is coming in trying to replace a lot on defense and their QB is suspended. Wake is starting a True Freshman at QB.
I could see Tulane becoming a devastating option team, maybe with some old Cuse freeze elements thrown in. Willie Fritz seems like an effective professional coach.

I think UNC is hugely under rated this season. I've got that as a loss when we play them.

Some of the upset picks are interesting. BC and Wake are supposed to have good seasons, BC as high as #2 in the conference and you guys have them losing to UMass and Tulane. If that's the case you have to pencil them in as CUSE W's there to I would think.

I do believe Clemson might get beat in BC this season. November roadie if I'm not mistaken.
Agree

People look at them last year when they were down to 25 healthy bodies and say they suck. They will be an 8 win team

UNC-Cal and Miami-LSU are the big games for the conference.
We need to take care of business on the road as well.

If Miami can take care of LSU then the coastal will have an elite team.
Just can’t do it. Hate Miami, love Coach O.

The deacons are solid, and will continue to be. Pound for pound best coach in the league IMO.

Don't see BC losing to UMass, just no.

Louisville is the mystery. Their HC is maybe the most overrated coach in the league, if not country...but, he obviously gets himself a big cred boos if he pulls it off this weekend. I just see Bama wearing them out after it may be close up to halftime or so.

Miami is the other enigma, I think by end of 1st quarter we will have a feel with how good they both are. I think Miami blows their doors off if have to guess though. EO has done nothing as a HC to make me think they will be good, then hiring a 10x retread OC to take over for a guy who is one of the best he ran off also screams LSU will be in trouble.

Football is back...

I know this isn't an ACC game, but my lock of opening weekend is Oklahoma -21 at home vs Florida Atlantic.

I know everyone may not be happy about how the entirety of the game went yesterday, but it's better than going into OT with Tulane. Now it's time to watch how the rest of the ACC does this week.

55-0 Sooners in the third quarter. It’s always sunny in Lock City.

Good call. I hope my Bama -24 ends up wrong.

I don’t have any actual data to back this up, but I feel like Bama often completely dominates games by winning like 27-3. I could see them dominating Louisville in similar fashion but not winning by some huge margin.
