When is the B1G going to want to expand? Their TV contracts come up in 2016 season. They are going to negotiate next year. If UConn were a target of the B1G who would be the 16th team I would like to know? The GORs of ACC, Big XII would take them out, the SEC network would be up and running and while the cost of leaving that conference is zero the buyout of the SEC network would cost whatever SEC team wanted to leave would cost tons of money to buy back their 3rd tier rights to give to the B1G/BTN.

UConn basketball is fine, but UConn football is not anyway you slice it. No more BCS affiliation, you aren't the top FB brand in your new conference, and the best season  in D-1 UConn football history was a 9-4 record. The year you went to the BCS you were 8-5. 9-4/8-5 isn't getting you into a bowl game against a power 4 league team anymore. UConn football's margin for error is now 10-2.

UConn FB is where you need to improve if your going to move on up and I don't see the B1G making any moves until the ACC or Big XII GOR were to expire in the distance future like 10 years down the line.
