The ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament will take place in North Carolina for five consecutive years from 2025 to 2029. The historical postseason tournament will alternate years, taking place at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte in 2025, 2026, and 2028, and at the Greensboro Coliseum in 2027 and 2029. No venue has hosted the ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament more than the Greensboro Coliseum, and 2027 will mark the 30th time. The City of Charlotte has hosted the ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament on 13 occasions.

Did Brooklyn not bid on it?

Guess DC cannot since we don't know what the arena situation is going to be...

Yuck to Greensboro. At least it is easy to get to Charlotte and there is a real city there.

That announcement details championship venues for all kinds of sports, most of which will be held in North Carolina.

None at SMU. What happened to the ACC using Dallas/Fort Worth as a place to have tournaments? Maybe the powers that be from the North Carolina overlord schools figured out Dallas/Fort Worth is not in North Carolina.

No honeysuckle, no tournament.

It's everything except Track and Field/Cross Country, Field Hockey, Ice Hockey, Volleyball and Softball.

This isn't a serious conference.

What a joke.

Soccer and Tennis have always been at Cary.

Rowing has always been in Charlottesville or Raleigh.

Disappointed that LAX isn't rotating between each school. Of course, if only 4 MLAX teams make the ACCT, it would be embarrassing to be the assigned host if you're not playing.

Golf, Swimming and Baseball? Not my problem.

SUCKS. They're cannibalizing the northeast section of the conference and abandoning major cities like NYC, DC and Boston, where they need to have a presence. We're not going to be the Big East, but we need to have a bigger presence in these markets.

It's ridiculous, in an era of national conferences and after adding Stanford, Cal, and SMU, to still be doing as much as possible in North Carolina. They should be leaning into having Northeastern schools and West Coast schools and a Texas school.

North Carolina is the most central location for ACC championships so it makes sense. The ACC is not a Northeast/Midwest/Texas/Western conference. And, look at the attendance at Barclays in 2022. It was really bad.

Yeah it's a perfectly logical move.

The Big East held serve at MSG.

North Carolina is a natural center place for the ACC, notably Charlotte. Nothing wrong with that.
Not so much since they added Dallas and the Bay Area.

This sucks. No desire to go to either city. Not that we play into the weekends ever. If they made it Charlotte only that would be somewhat acceptable Greensboro F off.

If we somehow get on a run might try and go to DC fond memories of course of that weekend in 2013.

Those two are getting 0-30% of the cut and need to deal with reality. It ain’t - nor shouldn’t - head to those sites for YEARS.
