Johnnie’s in a tighter game early vs Bucknell with them finally getting some separation. With the 5th year Covid seniors no longer a thing there is definitely more parity this year and less predictable outcomes and margin of victory.

Still unbalanced with the new rules for paying players but not quite as extreme.

Miami in a bit of a tussle with Elon too in the first half. Based on the various conferences the CAA (Drexel, Elon , Monmouth) seems to be a pretty competitive conference. Towson played Houston tough as well. Elon is predicted second to last worse than Drexel.

Cinci up 5 on Louisville early 2nd half

That was a helluva play for an end-of-game shot!!

Baseball throw to the tallest dude, who immediately reversed it to the shooter, who got to shoot in rhythm.

When your tall dude isn’t Christian Laettner - or Conrad McRae -
that’s a brilliant play call.
Turned the game on when Memphis was shooting the FTs to take the lead. Good timing. Was essentially an identical play of Bryce Drew’s buzzer beater in the ‘98 tournament.

Tough start to the season for Wake. They look like a top-25 team but nothing to show for it. Had 7 point 2nd half leads against 2 top 15 teams this year (Michigan and Texas Tech) on neutral floors. But lost both by a combined 5 points.
Who does Wake even have on their team? Didn’t that Gonzaga transfer graduate? I thought their offseason roster acquisition was lackluster.
