ACC needs better bowl assignment rules

Conference record should matter if two teams have the same overall record

Head to head should matter

Division record should matter


Also, they need to do away with this “Tier 1 all equal” crap. We know they’re not equal and the selection process is flawed.

Yeah, that’s my point. We own every possible tiebreaker over NCSU yet we most likely won’t go to the bowl we should be going to because of a deeply flawed process.

I believe the ACC has the same rule for the second place team but as luck would have it the ACC is tied to the Orange Bowl which part of the playoff in 2018. As a result we get screwed out of a New Years bowl game in 2018.

The Big Ten has access to southern bowls like the Citrus, Outback, and TaxSlayer. Gotta steal one of those.
