I thought the show was very average at best. Not much insight on the team. They almost acted like they were only there because they had to. Same repeat footage of 44’s that’s been played over and over. They even screwed up when they said Davis went on and had successful career.

That Dalen Cuff dude is pretty weak, he is the one who made the cringeworthy comment about Ernie. I listened to the team preview on the ACC Radio app and Cuff made some clueless remarks about how it seems like our D coordinator changes every year. I was like, what? And I thought the same thing when I saw the 44 feature that I have seen on there 1000 times. Definitely wanted to hear their take on the transfers we brought in for the secondary and that was never addressed.

Cuffe has a basketball background. He likely got thrust into this role recently due to the ESPN layoffs.

Watched with my wife (both alum) and her takeaway was that Gadsen (who she didn’t know exist before this show) will get a modeling gig if he doesn’t make the nfl.

He's a mute the moment he shows up as one of the crew for any sport for me. This show being an exception but they would have been just fine had he sat and said nothing.

Given the cone of silence around the team this pre-season, I looked forward to the show. I was hoping for something I didn't know, even a Dino-ism like "we have a lot of cats ready for the litter box."

Or whatever.

On the plus side, always good to see my man, Don McPherson. Or as he is known in my house, "SU's unofficial second Heisman winner and my favorite player after Ernie Davis."

As for everything else, it was clearly intended for fans of other ACC teams who stumbled upon it while channel surfing. It was kind of like a very basic introduction to SU football for those who previously knew nothing.

Oh well, the aerial shots of campus were very nice.

Amazing that most of those southern ACC fans that look down on Syracuse, can’t put players into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Where is UNC, Clemson, FSU, etc? All I see is former BE in there.
