ACC Road Show at Syracuse | Tues Aug 15

I’m just tired of the southern ACC fans and all of their bull crap especially fans in the state of NC. They do nothing yet strut around like pompous (you know what).
We could have 12! HOF'ers and will be tied with Michigan (I'm putting Tom Brady in).

Let's detonate northeast football though when you have SU w 12 and Wesleyan with soon to be 1 (Belichick)

is it crazy to think that we may get 4 more? Tom Coughlin, Chandler, Freeney and McNabb?
Don’t think we will get credit for Tom in those official stats since it will be as a coach? Not sure how that works. Freeney is a lock, McNabb is a maybe and Chandler we shall see.

I think Al Davis is in the list of HOF'ers from Syracuse and not sure he ever suited up for the football team in any meaningful capacity. We absolutely should get credit for Tom Coughlin. He played at SU for sure.

Well Minn is down for 7.

Tony Dungey and Bud Grant are 2 of the 7.

Chandler 100% no doubt about it. All the others you would think have a really realistic shot at making it.

Watched with my wife (both alum) and her takeaway was that Gadsen (who she didn’t know exist before this show) will get a modeling gig if he doesn’t make the nfl.

I think she’s in love
My wife said the same thing, She said,. “His eyes”
Add my wife to the "he has beautiful eyes" mix.
Wives notice beautiful eyes.

I notice the crazy eyes.

CD-RW and Thompson got the crazy eyes.

And I love having them on the roster because of it.

I don't think McNabb gets in

Agreed 144%.

He was a very good Pro QB.
But there have been many very good QB's, and you really need to be great to get in.

Freeney is a mortal lock.

Chan needs to stay healthy and stack a few more productive seasons to be a lock.

Gary Anderson really should get some consideration - TWENTY THREE years in the NFL is freaking amazing!
4x Pro Bowl, and was All-Decade Team in the 1980's AND 1990's.

From his Wiki -
He ranks third in games played (353), points scored (2,434), and field goals made (538)
and is also the Steelers' all-time leading scorer at 1,343 points.

Did anyone else notice that Joe Morris wasn't even mentioned as one of SU's great backs? I love Tucker...but to list him and not Joe was cringe worthy. I mean, he's SU all time rushing leader and a good NFL back. Joe never seems to be mentioned with the other great ones besides SU fans.

Agree. I have noted many times that Joe doesn't get his due because he didn't wear #44. You could toss in Reyes as well. Of course, the problem with the ACC telecast last night was that it was very superficial, so I'm not surprised that omissions were the rule rather than the exception. It was basically the Cliff Notes version of SU Football For Dummies.

Tucker did a ton for us.. Just not sure he runs like a pro back.. Morris carried a team to a bowl as well, would have been the first back to run for 1000 4 times if he doesnt hit the dumb wall. tucker was a better out run you guy, not a I will make you miss guy, Morris in these schemes would be killer.

Anyone who has the Sirius XM app and gets ACC Radio 371, listen to Gramlich and MacClain, they have a 8-10 minute Syracuse preview that is very good, Gramlich in particular knows her stuff, both feel good about us getting to 7 wins(ie over the 6.5 Vegas line)

I really like MacClain. He seems to really do his work, speaks intelligently, and has also spoken pretty well of SU over the last couple of years (excluding the Covid year which did not deserve to be well spoken).

I still remember the cover of the Herald sports page showing Gayden and two other rb recruits.

I saw him play against my hs alma mater in a sectional game; ran for 350 yds.
