I figured that based on the non-con stuff being released. I kind of liked opening with a conference game but it makes sense to hold off until December with what’s going on in the world

I think it played a role in how poorly the ACC was rated in conference strength last season. Poor play in OOC games was the biggest problem but this made things even worse...

I think having those early games was used more as a come-on for the ACCN. Now that the negotiations with Comcast have turned into a siege instead of a tactical battle, the conference decided to return to normal scheduling.
