Wins
SU 21-17
Pitt 30-27
UNC 39-17

Losses
Maryland 20-31
Miami 9-36 (but to Lville, so maybe 1-1 here)
Ga Tech 17-25
BC 19-42
Va Tech 10-28 (13 mins left in 4th)

3-5, with 2 of the 3 wins coming from SU and Pitt. So, our invitation was a football thing, I guess. ;)

Although, I do expect them to finish 5-6 - Duke gets waxed by aTm, Clemson beats O$U (please, oh please), and FSU beats Auburn.

EDIT: Va Tech ends up losing 42-12. Nice job, Chokies

If FSU TCBs none of the rest really matter.

I agree with Maryland as a Big 10 loss. The Miami/Louisville game is a wash since we have both sides. Therefore throwing those out, the league is 3-3 so far. What is fair to say is there was only one blowout win yet 2 one-sided losses.

So far I'm not too surprised: The ACC was top heavy, then a significant drop, yet the bottom of the league didn't seem too bad (that point is highlighted by the fact that we had more bowl-eligible teams than designated spots for those teams). So far the lower level bowl teams have done well and the middle teams have been weak. As long as FSU and Clemson do what they should do, we're all set. I expect Duke to get hammered too. If the league goes "net" 5-4 with a national title, I would say that is a success.

And remember... we were 4-5 point underdogs. Gotta count for something!

at least Duke covered the spread
