Syracuse with a B-
  • Career snaps added/lost: 10,249/7,234

Miami, Louisville and Va Tech were top three followed by Cal, SMU and UVA.

We finished tied for 7th with Wake Forest.
Interesting, that is basically where our HS class is ranked in the ACC by most services. Out of 17 teams, considering our limitations, is pretty good. I like the portal class, filled a lot of holes in a financially efficient manner. No McCord’s or Diggs in there(from a big name standpoint) but some solid players

I think it's interesting to see it's more of the "new" guard ranking highly, sans Miami. I think there will continue to be more parity in the conference.

An important piece of info... are there guys we expect to develop enough to make meaningful contributions?
No inside info but based on comments here it sounds like the last 2 years we haven't been getting any development or competence from the unit, based on coaching. We really don't know what we have.

I'd say obviously, otherwise we would have had to pick up some transfers.

the line sucked though. Some of that might be coaching but it would've been nice to see some talent upgrades alongside the coaching.
That's my concern. The existing crew was not very good in 2025, so was hoping to get some competition from FL, GA, Miami, Oh St, wherever. Let's hope they can be coached up.

This is my question, watching top teams and their oline, no one saw how bad this guy was from the rip. Was it his technique that was coached wrong(my opinion) or was it his talent evaluation. Honestly I’m shocked he was here 2 years and not 1. Pay the new guy well so he don’t leave.

We have more continuity on OL going into 2026 versus last year at this time. That helps. It takes time to mesh.

And Angelli is a quick decision maker. He had those timing routes over the middle down before he got hurt. We will love seeing them again. That alone can take pressure off.

We spent on the new line coach. In the long term, that could be more important.
I hope so, but you can’t teach instinct and athleticism. And to a small degree, you can work on quickness, and explosion, but not much. What you can fix is strength and technique, as well as scheme and execution.

A good coach is half the battle, I’m not sure we have the horses we need, but we’re much better off.

No one on this scares me other than Mensah. He’s a stud. Pribula is definitely good, coming off an injury. Mobility is really good. Kienholz has the potential to be really good, but unproven. Everyone else is ehhhhh
I thought pribula was pretty good at Penn state but looking at his stats in SEC play do mizzou I’m pretty sure his touchdown/interception rate was negative. A lot of the fans said he’d play good against worse teams and not good against better teams.

I think that quick reaction time is key. Kept McCord healthy. Last year our backups needed more time, a lot more.

I’d like to see a more robust running game this year. That would help as well. Frankly that would help me watch games as I’ve run out of hair to tear out waiting for a running game to emerge.
