I honestly have no idea how any of our fans can dislike Clemson.

I spend half my week in ATL and the other half in Greenville, SC which is 20 minutes from Clemson. If anyone would dislike them, it would be me as I’m around their fans all the time.

Their fans are awesome. A little cocky, but I get it, they love Syracuse and Dino (hate Boeheim) and go out of their way to be nice to opposing fans at games.

Dabo embodies what a CFB HC should be. He and Dino are two guys I’d let a kid play for in a heartbeat.

They are also keeping the football conference from becoming Pac-12 level irrelevant while FSU keeps forfeiting seasons post-Jameis and the Coastal stays a dumpster fire.

People seem to have a penchant for throwing this term around without explanation. I honestly don’t know why it’s said. With 2 inter-divisional games to go involving the 4 NC teams (probably a split), the inter-divisional record is 6-6. The Coastal has had 6 different winners in the past 6 years instead of having 1 or 2 teams win every year. That’s bad? If we’re called a “dumpster fire”, why shouldn't the Atlantic be called “Clemson and the Six Dwarves”?

Clemson and FSU own the conference in recent years. You have to go back to 2010 and VT to find a different conference champion.

As far as perception this year - Clemson, Syracuse, NC State and BC have all been in the CFP rankings. Virginia promptly exited after one week and hopefully Pitt gets a deserved ranking this week.
