Never heard of her, but Stewart Mandel of SI re-tweeted her, so it's safe to assume he finds her credible.

I googled Kelly Whiteside. She's a reporter for USA Today, so I guess the tweet has some merit, as I consider them a reputable source.

Now if I found out she worked for Bleacher Report I would have arrived at a different conclusion.

I would imagine this thing is a done deal. There's no way SU would be so careless to proceed with the application if it weren't a certainty. I'm sure they received some type of assurance and learned from that debacle back in '03...can't imagine they would expose themselves again this time around...the stakes are much higher present day...
