What results do we want today to keep giving Cuse outside chance at acc tourney?

Clearly, Duke over Notre Dame.
The UVA Vs. UNC game isn't quite as clear, but I suspect UVA winning would give SU the best shot at qualifying for the conference tournament.

Some here would argue that winning the 5 vs. 6 game is actually preferred.

We need to finish in either a 2-way or a 3-way tie where we own all the tiebreakers.

That means Notre Dame has to lose to both Duke and Maryland to finish 2-3.

We need UVa to lose out and finish 1-4 (6th place).

If UNC beats UVa today and loses to us, they finish 2-3.

Duke is doing its part so far.
Duke up 11-3 with 2:00 left in the 3rd quarter.
Make that 12-3 with 1:44 to go in the 3rd.

Duke just bounced back after a 3-goal run, including a short-handed goal, by ND.
14-6 with 7:19 to go in the game.

Miles Jones again in a 2-man up situation... 15-6
Duke just penalized for the 3rd FO violation.

UNC is leading UVA 3-1 after the first quarter.

UVA coming back.
4-4 with 6:00 to go in the first half.
5-5 at halftime.

It's heating up...
8-8 with 1:32 to go in the 3rd, UNC EMO upcoming.

UVA ties it at 9 with 7 minutes remaining in regulation... now 4:10.

Harvard beating Cornell by 6 in the 4th.

It's crazy...
UVA goes up 10-9, UNC comes back to tie it and scores immediately following the FO.
UNC up 11-10 with 2:28 to go.

UNC hangs on to win 11-10.

Both games go SU's way.

So if we beat unc and nd and Virginia lose one more we are in acc tourney?

If we finish tied with UNC and ND at 2-3, and Virginia is 1-4, we're good.
